DOHA: The country’s first shopping complex run and managed by women for women was inaugurated yesterday.
The complex has 34 outlets retailing various products, including household items, beauty products, garments and perfumes, among other things.
The complex located at Al Shafi Commercial Street, also has eateries. The complex and the outlets within are all run and managed by women for women clientele. The complex is a brainchild of Qatari businesswoman, Sohaila Al Hareb, and aims at ensuring the privacy of Qatari women.
They can shop for household and personal items in privacy.
