With these projects, the country would witness the launch of a total of 25 tourism projects during the first quarter of 2015, Al Sharq reported.
Abdul Aziz bin Nasser Al Khalifa, CEO, QDB said the development bank‘s strategy is to promote the growth of private sector and support the government economic diversification programme.
Luxury Dhow Dining Cruise, Luxury Coach, 4x4 Leasing Company, MICE and Events DMC, Ticketing and Mobile Information Centers and SME Cottage Markets are the six projects under consideration. These projects will be procured via a competitive public tender. QDB will also look favourably upon applications for funding in relation to this project. QDB will offer advisory services to applicants prior and post financing.
These projects are a part of a larger pipeline of projects aimed at filling gaps in tourism. The projects offer a first mover’s advantage since there is a demand for such services, but hardly any players in the market. The Peninsula
