Madrid: Spain Football Federation said Monday that injuries to Sergio Ramos and Juanfran will prevent them from playing with their national teams next week. They will be replaced by Nacho and Oscar de Marcos.
Ramos injured his left shoulder in Real Madrid's 3-2 defeat at Sevilla Sunday. Juanfran meanwhile suffered a muscle strain in his left thigh in Atletico Madrid's 1-0 win over Sporting Gijon.
Nacho is another Real Madrid defender who can play anywhere across the back four. As for the 26 year-old De Marcos, the right-back could make his Spain debut if he features for his national team next week.
Spain will face England in Alicante Friday in a friendly, followed by Belgium in Brussels four days later.
