Emir issues decrees

Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued yesterday Decree No. 70 of 2013 ratifying a memorandum of understanding in the health field between Qatar and Thailand, signed in Doha on May 15, 2012. The Emir also issued Decree No. 71 of 2013 ratifying an agreement between Qatar and San Marino on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion in relation to income taxes, signed in Doha on March 17, 2013. 
Envoys appointed
Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued yesterday Emiri decision No. 157 of 2013, appointing Mohamed Jaham Abdel Aziz Al Kuwari as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the US. The Emir also issued Emiri decision No. 159 of 2013, appointing Abdullah Obaid Al Dehaimi as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to South Korea. The Emir also issued Emiri decision No. 160 of 2013, appointing Mohammed Ali Mohammed Al Malki as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Moldova.

Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued yesterday law no. 16 of 2013 on chemical weapons. 
Draft deals ratified 

Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued yesterday an instrument of ratification, approving a draft agreement on cooperation in the legal field between Qatar and Peru, signed in Lima on February 14, 2013. The Emir also issued a document of ratification approving the ratification of the International Convention for the Suppression of Acts of Nuclear Terrorism of 2005. The Emir also issued an instrument of ratification approving a draft agreement on cooperation in the cultural field between Qatar and El Salvador, signed in Antiguo Cuscatlan on October 7, 2013.

Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani endorsed yesterday Cabinet decision No. 54 of 2013 setting up commercial dispute resolution committees. QNA
