Doha: The Emir of Kuwait H H Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah met Qatari child Mohammad Al Muftah, Founder of an initiative ‘Be Active’ which aims to disseminate positivity, optimism, hope and awareness among people with special needs.
The Emir praised the initiative that supports people with special needs and promotes their humanitarian role.
Al Muftah, a child with special needs, said Sheikh Sabah’s directives “are a beacon to me in my life”.
Al Muftah told Kuwait News Agency (Kuna) that he was happy to have met the ‘Humanitarian Leader’ who provided parental guidance and tips that will “guide me in my career”. He said the meeting was the “greatest achievement of my life”. Al Muftah noted the role to be played by Mohammad Al Muftah Foundation for Charitable Works — an air trip around the world which will start from Doha as a Gulf project dubbed ‘Be Positive’ to spread love and peace and promote optimism and positivity among the needy. The foundation has a branch in Kuwait and works in cooperation with Al Anbaa newspaper. The journey will be officially launched in six months and will include many activities.
