DOHA: Pakistani artistes and students will stage cultural and entertainment activities at Al Wakra Stadium on December 18.
Pakistani community’s Events Management Committee, led by Pakistan Embassy’s Community Welfare Attaché, Rashid Nizam, is coordinating the event to be held under the patronage of National Day Celebrations Organising Committee, in association with the Ministry of Interior.
The theme is ‘Honesty and Loyalty to Qatar’.
They will be joined by the Bangladeshi community.
Along with community groups, students of Pakistan Education Centre, Bangladesh School, Bhavan’s Public School, Shantiniketan Indian School and TNG will take part.
Participating Pakistanis artistes include Malkoo, Shahsawar Khan, Masood Khawaja, Allan Fakir Junior, Akhtar Chanal, Usman Bangash and Dildar Khan. Eighteen expatriate schools and many community organisations are participating with cultural and musical extravaganzas and sport competitions.
Other Asian communities will hold events at Al Khor Sports Club, Al Rayyan Sports Club and West End Park.
