DOHA: Part of Khalifa Street from Al Markhiya Intersection to Al Gharafa Intersection will be closed from tomorrow at 11pm, the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) said yesterday. The closure will be for two days and is part of ongoing maintenance works. The road is expected to be open for traffic from 11am on Saturday.
Motorists heading to Madinat Khalifa North and Landmark mall from Al Markhiya Intersection can use Arab League Street to reach Dahl Al Hamam Intersection and make a U-turn and use interior roads in the area.
Those heading to Madinat Khalifa South can use Jassim Bin Hamad Street and local roads.
DOHA: A Korean team has visited Qatar to explore cooperation in medical sciences and radiology. It comprised six members from Korea Institute of Radiological and Medical Sciences and Seoul National University of Science and Technology who met officials during their three-day visit.
