DOHA: Vodafone Qatar yesterday said the latest Galaxy Note Edge is available at its stores in Villaggio, Landmark mall, City Centre Mall, in Al Nasr and Al Gharrafah, making it the first operator in the country to launch the smartphone.
The handset priced at QR4,499 is also available on its eShop (www.vodafone.qa/Go/NoteEdge). It will be offered in other Vodafone retail stores soon. It is the latest addition to Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy Note series.
It features a one-of-a-kind screen which offers users a revolutionary way of accessing information and engaging with their mobile device.
Vodafone Qatar said: “The Galaxy Note Edge is one of the most highly awaited handsets in Qatar and we are happy to be the first telecom operator to launch it in our stores for everyone to enjoy the best in mobile innovation. The curved screen provides quick access to frequently used apps, alerts and device functionality – even when the cover is closed – with the swipe of a thumb. It also enables users to receive notifications on the screen while watching videos without disturbing their viewing.
The design concept makes everyday tasks and multitasking easier and more efficient, echoing Samsung’s consumer-centric approach that catapulted the Note to success.
