Doha: Abdullah Al Kuwari won the Misfer Qatar National Rally, organised by the Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF), on Saturday.
Al Kuwari had already secured the championship in the last round but the Qatar driver pushed his Ford Fiesta R5 to the limit to finish first with a total time of 1:09:38,8.
Qatar’s Rashid Al Naimi finished in second place with a time of 1:10:53,7.
On the same day, UAE’s Ali Al Shawi won the last round of the Qatar National Baja in a Chevrolet with a total time of 1:12:36,2.
In the championship of the Qatar National Baja, the winner was Ali Al Kitbi and second classified in the championship Ahmed Al Shawi.
The trophies were presented by Mohammed Saad Al Morrakhi, QMMF General Secretary, and Sultan Zaher Al Morraikhi, QMMF Board Member.
