Doha: With an objective to motivate students to face exams and provide guidance in the selection of career path, the Department of Guidance and Counselling of MES Indian School organised ‘Success Mantra’, an online session for the students of classes 9 and 11 recently.

Hameeda Kadar, the school Principal, and CBSE counsellor, in her inaugural address, encouraged the students to be inclined to academic success as they are at the end of the academic year. She also emphasised the importance of exploring further options, understanding the competitive world, and building a dream career.

Student Counsellors Jisha A G and Fathima Samar briefed students on how to tackle the exam stress and provided tips to enhance their confidence level.  Career selection, planning, common entrance tests, requirements for applying to different colleges, and the necessity of registering in the CBSE career portal, were taken up for discussion during the session.

Certain tips were given by the counsellors for the students to be motivated and urged them to practice mindfulness which is helpful to tackle stress-related issues successfully.

The resource persons cleared the doubts raised by children at the end of the session.

The school officials, class teachers, parents, and students attended the event.
