New York---NBC has suspended star presenter Brian Williams for six months without pay for embellishing an Iraq war story, the American news broadcaster said Tuesday.
The measure takes effect immediately, NBC said on its website, under pressure to deal with the 55-year-old Williams, who reportedly earns about $10 million a year.
