DOHA: The Shariah-compliant lender Barwa Bank has signed an agreement to be a gold sponsor for Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition (DIMDEX 2014), the Middle East and North Africa’s leading expo and conference.
DIMDEX 2014 will be held under the patronage of the Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on March 25-27 at Qatar National Convention Centre.
The Assistant Minister of State for Defence Financial Affairs and Chairman of DIMDEX H E Brigadier Dr Thani A Al Kuwari said: “We are pleased to sign the agreement with the bank.”
Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Fahad bin Faisal Al Thani, Senior Manager of the Government Sector at the bank, said: “We are always keen to support major events in Qatar as part of our commitment to support creating a platform for large-scale economic activities to help achieve National Vision 2030.
