DOHA: HH the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, met at his Emiri Diwan office here on Thursday morning with British Chief of the Defense Staff General Sir David Richards and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of their current visit to Qatar.
Talks during the meeting dealt with scopes of cooperation between Qatar and the UK especially in military domains, in addition they discussed the latest developments in the region.
HE Chief of Staff meets UK Chief of Defense Staff
HE Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Maj. Gen. Hamad bin Ali Al-Attiyah met here Thursday with UK Chief of Defense Staff General Sir David Richards, who is currently visiting the country.
During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries especially in military affairs.
The meeting was attended by a number of Armed Forces ranking officials. (QNA)
