Security officers arrested two of five fugitive suspects in an indecency case that allegedly occurred at a wedding in Sharjah. Video of the event went viral.
A third suspect, AAH, Emirati, was arrested by Abu Dhabi Police, in coordination with Sharjah Police, while he was hiding in Abu Dhabi. He is accused of performing indecent dances along with the first suspect, KH.
As he was passing through Dubai airport, police arrested HSK, an Iranian, who owns the band that performed the Al Malaya dances at the wedding.
Three suspects remain at large, including a woman from the Comoros Islands.
Khor Fakkan misdemeanours court will be hearing the case on April 16.
Six of seven suspects in custody have denied the charges against them. The other has admitted committing a lewd act.
