Doha: UniChem Limited is conducting a half-day workshop on May 4 at InterContinental Doha - The City Hotel on the need of effective means to treat waste water in the region.
An official announcement about the ferric chloride plant being built by the company will be the main focus.
The plant, one of the first in the region will establish the company as a dependable organisation providing industrial chemicals, analytical analysers, related technical assistance and consulting services in Qatar and the Middle East.
The management hopes to complete the construction phase by the year-end and start the plant’s operations by the first quarter of 2016.
The workshop will gather professionals and enthusiasts from the field of waste water treatment to discuss on challenges and issues faced by the industry. A session on the uses of ferric chloride in the treatment of waste water will be a highlight of the workshop.
