DPS-MIS conducted a fire drill to train students and staff in safety measures to be adopted in the event of an emergency. Various exits were chalked out and the teachers were briefed about the objectives and steps to be taken for evacuation, and the teachers instructed students about the same. When the alarm went off, all the students under the guidance of their teachers evacuated each classroom in an orderly way and assembled in the ground, where space was allotted for each wing. Thus a successful evacuation was carried out in the stipulated time.
