Twenty-eight students of MES Indian School were present at the screening of The brain that sings, directed by Amal Al Agroobi. The screening was held recently under the patronage of Doha Film Institute (DFI) as part of the Ajyal Youth Film Series, at the Museum of Islamic Art. The film explores the stigma associated with children with special needs in Arab culture, and the challenges the families face when they confront their children’s future. During an interactive session, Agroobi discussed her views on the latest trends and possibilities in making short films. She also shared her experience of making the film.
