Brussels: Mayor of the City of Brussels Yvan Mayeur met here yesterday with H E Dr Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari, the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage. They discussed bilateral relations, particularly in the cultural aspect. The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ali Bin Jassim Al Thani, Ambassador of Qatar to Belgium. The Minister is on a visit to Brussels as part of Qatar Cultural Days in Belgium, which kicked off on Friday and will continue until May 13.
Chief of Staff leaves for Kuwait
Doha: Chief of Stafff of the Qatari Armed Forces H E Major General (Pilot) Ghanim bin Shaheen Al Ghanim left yesterday for Kuwait to take part in the consultative meeting of GCC chiefs of staff. Al Ghanim and his accompanying delegation were seen off by a number of senior armed forces officers.QNA
