Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 119.17 points (+1.19%) when the bourse closed trading at 10,110.84 points Thursday.
The volume of shares traded increased to 11,958,643 from 7,275,183 on Wednesday and the value of shares increased to QR327,315,001.76 from QR182,020,016.32 on Wednesday.
From the 44 companies listed on QSE, shares of 38 saw trading today. From these 30 gained and 8 companies closed lower today.
Indices of all sectors ended in green. QSE Total Return Index gained +1.19 to 16,955.29 points. QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index added +0.94% to 4,034.48 points and QSE All Share Index increased +1.23% to 2,864.87 points. (QNA)
