DOHA: Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend Thursday, adding 87.08 points (0.93 percent) to advance to 9,419.97 points from 9,332.89 on Wednesday.
The volume of the shares traded up to 5,169,590 from 2,214,900 on Wednesday and the value of shares increased to QR247,654,052.09 from QR 111,706,401.43 Wednesday.
Among the top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 1.25 percent to QR161.50, Industries Qatar rose 1.64 percent to QR161.40, Barwa Real Estate gained 0.92 percent to QR27.35 and Al Meera up by 0.97 percent to QR135.00 .
The Banking and Financial sector index up 0.90 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index down 0.17 points and Industrial sector rose 1.03 points. (QNA)
