Gaza: At least three Palestinians were martyred and several others were injured on Friday in a series of Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling across the northern and southern Gaza Strip.
Medical sources confirmed that two civilians lost their lives following Israeli shelling in the al-Satar al-Gharbi area of Khan Yunis, in the southern part of the enclave.
Several injuries were reported when an Israeli drone targeted a tent sheltering displaced persons east of Ghaith Camp in the al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis.
Meanwhile, Al-Awda Hospital reported that a civilian was wounded by Israeli shelling near an aid distribution point south of Wadi Gaza in the central Gaza Strip.
In the north, a recently released Palestinian prisoner was martyred in an Israeli strike in Gaza City’s al-Zeitoun neighborhood. The man, who had previously lost both his brother and sister in earlier attacks, was reportedly targeted directly.
In a separate incident, multiple civilians were injured when an Israeli drone dropped explosives on a group of residents in the same neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.
The latest casualties come amid an intensifying Israeli military campaign. According to Gaza health authorities, the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression since October 2023, has risen to 57,762, with at least 137,656 others wounded.
