Doha: The Indian national flag will be hoisted at Indian Cultural Centre, Street No. 916, Wahb Bin Omair, Al Mamoura, at 7am on Saturday to mark India’s 69th Independence Day.
Ambassador Sanjiv Arora will hoist the flag and read out the President Pranab Mukherjee’s message. Students of Indian schools will participate. Refreshments will be served. All Indians are invited to attend the function, with a request to bring photo ID.
