Doha: Nakilat in partnership with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), hosted its second blood donation drive event. Nakilat staff members came out to give blood as part of Corporate Social Responsibilities initiatives.
A fully equipped mobile blood donation unit arrived from HMC along with a team of medical professionals. They were assisted by Nakilat team. The coordinated campaign allowed team members to donate blood at their workplace.
Rashid Al Marri, Nakilat Administration Director, said: “I’m extremely proud of all the Nakilat employees who took part in this event. it’s a noble cause, and we hope to partner with HMC in the future. Every year we endeavour to integrate our role as a corporate entity with our day-to-day business as we believe one enhances the other. Most of what we do goes beyond corporate social responsibility, we are driven by giving back to society and helping our community make a difference, in this instance, by donating blood to saves lives.”
The event was a huge success as community support is vital to the local blood supply.
