DOHA: Ooredoo celebrated World Friendship Day by hosting a special screening of the latest blockbuster “Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation” for 30 lucky winners and their best friends. The competition, which asked Ooredoo customers to share a picture of their happiest moment with their best friends, selected 30 winners at random to go to the screening with a friend at the new cinema, Novo in the Pearl.
Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari, Director Community and Public Relations, Ooredoo, said: “We want to unite our customers and give back, and World Friendship Day was a perfect opportunity for us to do something fun. We love surprising our customers as part of our #OoredooWeekends initiative and we hope everyone enjoyed the screening.”
Ooredoo organised the private screening of Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation on Thursday. The film, which has just been released, is the fifth instalment in the Mission: Impossible series and stars Tom Cruise, who reprises his role as IMF Agent Ethan Hunt.
