DOHA: Alfardan Automobiles, the official MINI importer in Qatar, has recorded a 27 percent increase in its sales during the first half of 2016. The MINI 3-Door Hatch saw an increase of 19 percent whilst the MINI five-door variant recorded an upswing of 15 percent in sales over the same period in 2015.
In addition, Alfardan Automobiles retained its pole position in the sales of John Cooper Works models regionally. The all-new MINI Convertible was unveiled in the region at the Qatar Motor Show within its debut in January 2016.
Ihab Allam, General Manager of Alfardan Automobiles, said: “Our sales figures are testament to the growing appetite amongst premium car owners in Qatar for the MINI experience. By combining the British pedigree of the brand with our impeccable customer care and bespoke services, we have been able to showcase the brand’s portfolio of best-in- class models coupled with a limitless variety of equipment and accessories. At the heart of MINI’s success in this market is the unique driving experience it provides — the go-kart driving feel, creative design approach and the flexibility of motion underpins an intuitive yet premium experience.” “The impressive figures we have achieved also reflect the shift in the identity of the brand, from individualistic outsider to refined sophisticate. MINI has captured this, enabling Qatar’s adventurous spirits to embark on new journeys,” he added
The new MINI Convertible, the world’s only premium convertible in the small car segment, took open-top driving to the next level with its elegantly stretched lines and increased sporty flair.
