QFM-SriLankan Airlines join hands for awareness campaign

Doha: Qatar office of SriLankan Airlines has recently signed an agreement with QFM Radio Network to promote better awareness among its target travelers and customers in Qatar.

As per the terms, QFM Radio Network, through its on-air (95.3) FM Radio as well as popular social media platforms, in Sinhala and Tamil languages, will broadcast the latest messages issued by SriLankan Airlines. The content will include tips for traveling during pandemic times, schedules, precautions, and changes in regulations and procedures from time to time.

The agreement regarding the campaign was signed by Thusitha Wickramasinghe, the Country Manager of SriLankan Airlines in Qatar, and Anvar Hussain, the CEO of QFM Radio Network, in a brief ceremony held at the QFM office. Noufal AR (Marketing Manager – QFM), Waruna Embuldeniya (Sales executive – SriLankan Airlines), Uddama Akalanka, and Thushari Gajanayaka (Sales – QFM) were also present.

A private radio network in Qatar, QFM broadcasts in Sinhala, Tamil, Bangla (95.3), Malayalam (98.6), and Nepal (online) languages addressing more than 1.6 million expatriates in Qatar.
