Bishkek: Kyrgyzstan exported 746.7 tonnes of fish products in the first seven months of 2026, accounting for 87 percent of the country's total fish exports in 2025, the Kyrgyz government said Tuesday.
According to the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry, Kyrgyzstan exported 857.6 tonnes of fish products in 2025.
Currently, nine enterprises in the country are engaged in fish product exports, with their products being primarily exported to Russia and Kazakhstan.
The ministry added that it will continue to work to develop the fisheries sector, increase production, meet domestic demand and expand export opportunities.
