Floods following heavy rains Tuesday caused landslides and rock collapses which demolished many houses, completely destroyed two cars and blocked several road in the three districts, according to the Secretary General of the province local council, Ali Al-Zykom.

The governorates council directed road works and bridges institutions in Mahweet to repair and open the affected roads.

A panel formed from the engineering department will visit the site and evaluate the damages caused by the floods, he said.
