DOHA: There are more than 200 licensed education centres in Qatar and none of them has been given permission to offer university services, the Supreme Education Council (SEC) has said.
These centres provide tuitions and coaching in language, administration, physical education etc. They also include centers providing translation services.
These centres are regulated by Law No. 6 of 2000 and any facility violating the provisions of the law will face stern action, a local Arabic daily said yesterday, quoting an SEC statement.
