Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, yesterday issued the Emiri Decision No. 139 of 2013 appointing Sheikha Alyaa bint Ahmed bin Saif Al Thani as ambassador and permanent representative of Qatar to the United Nations in New York.
The Emir also issued the Emiri Decision No. 140 of 2013 appointing Sheikh Mishaal bin Hamad bin Mohamed Al Thani as ambassador to France.
Emir sends greetings to Ethiopian president
Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani sent a cable of congratulations to Dr Mulatu Teshome Wirtu on the occasion of winning the presidential elections in Ethiopia.
