Karachi: The Governor of Sindh, Dr Ishrat Ul Ebad Khan, met here the Consul General of Qatar in Karachi, Saad Abdullah Al Mahmoud, on the occasion of assuming his duties in the country.
During the meeting, they discussed the existing relations between the two countries and ways to boost them.
They also discussed how to enhance trade relations, raise the volume of trade exchange and promote joint action mechanism for both the public and private sectors in Qatar and Pakistan.
The governor also praised the humanitarian and charitable works by Qatar and its people for the Pakistani people during the previous floods, highlighting the recent assistance to help those affected by a massive earthquake in Balochistan province last month.
