Doha: Hosts Qatar beat Nepal 2-0 in the AFC Under-19 Championship 2014 qualifier to maintain their all-win record.
At Al Arabi Stadium yesterday Qatar registered their third successive win in the championship.
Nasser Ibrahim gave the hosts the lead in the 57th minute while Hossam Kamal condolidated the lead in the 72nd minute.
Qatar and Uzbekistan both have nine points from three matches.
The hosts had earlier won 2-0 against India and followed it up with a 7-0 rout of Turkmenistan.
In yesterday’s other match, Abdiev Asliddin scored in each half to guide Uzbekistan to a 3-0 victory over India.
