DOHA: Al Wakra Municipality organised a workshop yesterday on food safety for the workers of restaurants and cafeterias operating in the municipality.
The workshop was opened by Nasser Saeed Al Marri, Acting Director of the Municipal Control Department, said a release.
He said that the workshop aimed at creating awareness about the importance of food safety and its reflection on the health and safety of consumers.
It was attended by Hamad Ibrahim Al-Shaikh, Head of the Health Control Department at the Municipality. The awareness lecture was prepared and delivered by Eng. Khalid Hamad Al Saleh, and was translated by veterinarian Abu Aqla Al Samani.
