37 riders tackle challenging Qatar Desert Racing Championship round

Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF)-organised Round 3 of the Qatar Desert Racing Championship, ‘Survival 2’, for motorcycles yesterday in Sealine, with the participation of 37 riders from various countries. The event featured a challenging desert course and an exciting atmosphere of competition.

The event witnessed impressive performances and close competition among participants, who battled for the top positions in Class 1 and Class 2, alongside the Veteran and Challenger categories.

At the conclusion of the race, QMMF Executive Director Amro Al Hamad and Race Director Pedro Almeida presented trophies to the winners in recognition of their outstanding performances throughout the competition.

In the special categories, Mohammad Bindol claimed the Veteran category title, while Abdallah Al Sabaa secured victory in the Challenger category.

In addition to the podium finish in the Quads category, Al Marzouki also claimed the victory in the Challenger class.

The organisation of this round reflects the QMMF’s ongoing efforts to develop desert racing, encourage participation in motorcycle competitions, and provide a competitive environment where riders from different countries can test their abilities and skills on Qatar’s challenging desert terrain.
