Wyndham Grand Regency Doha is planning to celebrate the Qatar National Day in true “Grand” style.  Beneath the hotel’s façade, which will be adorned with a huge Qatari flag and special lighting effects, guests and visitors to the hotel on December 18 will be treated to slices of the biggest cake in Doha, served by staff dressed in traditional costume, starting at 7:30am.  There will also be a chance to win prizes by participating in the hotel’s online photography competition.

“From December 18 to 20, Wyndham Grand Regency Doha invites people to upload photos of their Qatari National Day celebrations to the hotel’s Facebook page, www.facebook.com/wyndhamgrandregencyhoteldoha, for the chance to win an array of prizes, including  an overnight stay for two in one of the hotel’s sumptuous deluxe rooms, dinner for two at the hotel’s new Moroccan restaurant, Tangia, and a 60minute body massage at the indulgent Angsana Spa,” said an hotel official.

To round off the celebrations, Wyndham Grand Regency Doha is also offering special National Day-themed packages. Available from December 16 to 21, deluxe rooms inclusive of breakfast and a special traditional Qatari lunch buffet are available for QR750 per room per night, with children under 12 eating for free. Angsana Spa is offering 20 per cent discount on all treatments during the whole week. Tangia will also offer a 25 per cent discount on dining during this special night.
