DOHA: The Meteorology Department has warned of heavy fog in some areas this morning and strong winds by mid-day. The relatively high humidity that the country has been experiencing over the past few days would continue today. However, the strong northwesterly winds could cause a dip in temperature by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius, said the department.
The temperature in Doha is expected to vary from a minimum 18 degrees to a maximum 27 degrees. In areas like Al Khor and Abu Samra it could further plummet to 14 or 13 degrees.
The northwesterly winds would blow at moderate speeds at the beginning of the day and gather momentum by noon (10 – 20 knots onshore, reaching 25 knots offshore).
