Doha: Nakilat, Qatar’s premier marine company, has participated in the ME Shiptech Forum 2014 in Dubai, with Nakilat’s Fleet Director making a presentation at the event.
The ME Shiptech Forum 2014 brought together leading ship-owners, operators, charterers and ship technology providers to discuss topics including ship technology, operational efficiency, and sustainable ship operations.
Nakilat’s Fleet Director, Samir Bailouni, made a presentation to the delegates during the event, speaking about viable alternative shipping industry fuels and the role of the Middle East in the ever-changing landscape of the shipping market.
Bailouni also addressed themes such as the use of LNG as fuel, regulations, and safety.
