Doha, Qatar: QC Enterprises WLL (QC+) marks an extraordinary milestone as three of its flagship culinary destinations—IDAM by Alain Ducasse, Jiwan, and Desert Rose Café—are honoured in the MICHELIN Guide Doha 2026. Across fine dining, modern Middle Eastern cuisine, and elevated casual dining, each restaurant showcases QC+’s commitment to cultural storytelling, innovation, and excellence.

Leading the accolades is IDAM, which proudly retains its MICHELIN Star, reaffirming its status as one of Qatar’s most distinguished dining experiences. Located in the Museum of Islamic Art, IDAM continues to push the boundaries of contemporary gastronomy under Executive Chef Fabrice Rosso, whose curiosity and experimentation shape the restaurant’s identity. From pioneering preservation techniques to an inventive drinks lab led by award-winning mixologist Ratan Robi, IDAM remains a beacon of creativity. “To have retained our MICHELIN Star is an extraordinary honour,” says Chef Rosso.

Kirstin Mearns, CEO of QC+ adds: “IDAM embodies our belief that creativity knows no boundaries and progress comes from curiosity. It’s a reflection of how we approach everything we do: with openness and a drive to keep exploring.”

Meanwhile, Jiwan, perched within the National Museum of Qatar, celebrates its second consecutive Bib Gourmand distinction. Led by Head Chef Julien Guilloret, the restaurant reimagines Middle Eastern culinary heritage through flavours inspired by regional spice markets, farms, and diverse cultural influences. “Retaining our Bib Gourmand recognition is an incredible honour for the entire Jiwan team,” says Chef Guilloret. For QC+, Jiwan reflects its mission to bring Qatar’s cultural assets to life. “Jiwan tells the region’s story through flavour and hospitality,” notes Mearns. “The Bib Gourmand distinction affirms our commitment to spaces where heritage and modernity meet.”

Adding to the celebration is Desert Rose Café, which has been named a MICHELIN Selected Restaurant for 2026. Overlooking the museum lagoon, Desert Rose offers a contemporary expression of Qatar’s culinary heritage—an achievement made possible through the vision of acclaimed Qatari chef Noof Al Marri, a leading figure within QC+ Hospitality. Known for championing local cuisine and reimagining traditional dishes for today’s diners, Chef Noof sees the recognition as a celebration of Qatar’s evolving gastronomic identity. “This distinction reflects the dedication of our team and the depth and beauty of our culinary heritage,” she shares. The accolade reinforces Desert Rose’s role as a welcoming destination for both residents and global visitors seeking authentic Qatari flavours.

As QC+ celebrates the achievements of its culinary portfolio—three honours across three distinct dining concepts—the recognition underscores the group’s broader vision: to cultivate culture through creativity, authenticity, and meaningful experiences.

Together, IDAM, Jiwan, and Desert Rose Café illuminate the richness of Qatar’s culinary narrative—its heritage, its innovation, and its future in the 2026 edition of the world’s most respected dining guide.
