DOHA: The fourth Qatar International Falconry and Hunting Festival yesterday postponed its competitions until tomorrow due to the harsh weather conditions.
The organising committee decided to postpone the competitions, because of winds, dust and low visibility.
They held an emergency meeting and decided to resume the competitions tomorrow at 6am.
Ali bin Khathim Al Mashadi, Chairman of the festival, asked the participants to be present before 6am at Sabkhat Marma, Sealine. The festival which kicked off on Wednesday, post poned some competitions on Thursday as well.
