Doha: Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday sent a cable of congratulations to Iranian President Hassan Rowhani on his country’s National Day.
Deputy Emir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani sent a similar cable to Rowhani.
Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani also sent a cable of congratulations to Rowhani.
Premier meets Iraqi president
Doha: Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani yesterday met Iraqi President Dr Fuad Masum at Ritz-Carlton Doha. Talks dealt with cooperation and latest Arab and international developments.
The Premier also met Iraqi Interior Minister, Mohammed Salem Al Ghaban, National Security Adviser, Faleh Fayad, and Iraqi Republic Consultant President, Sherwan Al Waeli and discussed cooperation and issues of mutual interest.
