Doha, Qatar: Qatar Airways announced that passengers with confirmed tickets until March 22 are now eligible for date changes or a refund, as the airline continues to support passengers affected by recent operational disruptions in the region.
The airline stated that passengers holding confirmed bookings for travel between February 28 and March 22, 2026, are now eligible for two complimentary date changes - up to 14 days from the original travel date - or a refund of the unused ticket value. It advised travellers to ensure their contact details are up to date to receive important notifications.
"Customers stranded in Doha have been provided with accommodation and on-the-ground assistance, while our teams in Doha and across our network continue to assist customers with rebooking requests, the airline stated.
Qatar Airways added that a limited schedule of passenger flights to/from Doha (DOH) is available, which can be viewed at http://qatarairways.com/schedule, and booked through the Qatar Airways website, or mobile app,
The airline added that it is also operating selected non-stop point-to-point services, which have been arranged to help passengers complete their journeys. Customers eligible for these services will be contacted directly by Qatar Airways.
"Flights are currently operating within a limited safe corridor defined by the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority. Therefore, the number of flights that can operate each day are extremely limited under the current operational conditions. Each flight requires careful planning and remains subject to regulatory approvals and airspace conditions," it added.
It further reminded passengers that they should travel to the airport only if they hold a valid confirmed ticket.
Qatar Airways also reminded its customers that due to the ongoing disruption, they are currently experiencing exceptionally high call volumes and encouraged flyers to check the latest flight status and booking related information (rebooking, refunds etc.) on the Qatar Airways website or mobile app.
