DOHA: Part of the ceiling of a well-known ice cream parlour in Landmark Mall collapsed yesterday.
No one was injured as the accident took place late in the night when the outlet was closed, Al Sharq reported.
When an employee opened the door of the outlet in the morning he was shocked to find debris from the broken ceiling on the ground.
The Ministry of Interior said on its Twitter account that the mall will not be closed following the accident. The incident had occurred while the ice cream shop was being renovated, said the ministry.
