The first ever Turkish Festival hosted by Katara presents visitors a glimpse into the country.
On the first three days of the festival, which ends today, thousands of visitors enjoyed folk, ballet and modern dances from the seven regions of Turkey, as well as musical performances by the State Mehter Ensemble and Turkish World Music Ensemble.
Today, visitors can enjoy a contemporary art expo, “Sliding Doors on a Hidden Threshold”, a food and spices bazaar, and workshops on calligraphy, percussion instruments, food, glass blowing and water marbling.
