The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) wont extend the deadline for income tax return (ITR) filing on April 15, BIR Commissioner Kim Henares said.
However, online filing of ITRs are allowed up to June 15 only for no payment returns of entities, individual or judicial.
“No we did not extend the deadline for filing. For no payment of returns of entities, individual or judicial, they are still required to file their returns on or before April 15, but they can do so manually and then they are allowed up to June 15 to file online without recurring the penalties. However,if they fail to refile online on or before June 15, penalties will be imposed,” Henares said in a text message.
