Former Wales’ skipper Craig Bellamy poses with kids during his visit at the Aspire Academy in Doha, recently. During his visit, Roberto Olabe, Director of Football, introduced him to the Academy’s philosophy and the former Manchester City and Liverpool player also had the chance to see the training of the feeder teams and exchange thoughts with the coaches. The 35-year-old, who finished his playing career in 2014 after 17 years of professional football in the UK, is now focused on starting his coaching career in the youth academy of his hometown club Cardiff City. Bellamy advised kids to work hard in order to achieve their desired goals. He said there are no shortcuts and only sheer hardwork is key to success.
