DOHA: Academy Award nominated documentary The Square will be screened daily from May 15 to 21 at 7pm at Katara Drama Theatre.
The Sundance Film Festival World Cinema Audience Award-winning film directed by Jehane Noujaim is presented by Katara Doha Film Institute Cinema.
The Square follows a group of Egyptian revolutionaries who battle leaders and regimes and risk their lives to build a new society.
It is an immersive experience that transports the viewer deep into the intense emotional drama and personal stories behind news. It is the inspirational story of young people claiming their rights and struggling against multiple forces in their fight to express their beliefs.
