Doha: The Minister of Economy and Commerce H E Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim bin Mohamed Al Thani affirmed that Qatar has distinguished ties with the European Union and is keen to strengthen them.
This came during his participation as Guest of Honour at a luncheon in honour of EU ambassadors, hosted by the Greek embassy. Greece is presiding over the current session of the EU. Participants reviewed ways of strengthening economic and trade relations between Qatar and the EU.
