Doha, Qatar: The second edition of the Indian Mango Festival, also known as the Hamba Exhibition in local parlance, was inaugurated on June 12, 2025, at the Eastern Square of Souq Waqif in Doha, Qatar.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by HE Vipul, Ambassador of India to the State of Qatar, other Ambassadors and members of the diplomatic corps, senior officials from the Committee of the Private Engineering Office, and numerous mango enthusiasts.
Organized by Souq Waqif in collaboration with the Embassy of India in Doha, this vibrant 10-day festival will run from June 12 to June 21, 2025, celebrating the rich variety and unparalleled flavours of Indian mangoes and mango-based products.
The Indian Mango Festival offers visitors an opportunity to experience and purchase a wide selection of India’s most celebrated mango varieties from all over India such as Dusehri, Langda, Alphonso, Kesar, Hapus, Neelam, Rajapuri, Malgova, Badami, and many more.
These mangoes, known for their distinct tastes, textures, and aromas, have long been prized by fruit lovers around the world.
In addition to fresh mangoes, the festival features an enticing range of mango-based products including juices, ice creams, pickles, sweets, and traditional delicacies, reflecting the culinary diversity of Indian cuisine. A notable highlight of the event is the participation of around 35 Indian importers, restaurants, and cafes, occupying around 95 stalls, each showcasing regional specialties and mango innovations.
The festival is open to the public daily from 4 pm to 9 pm and till 10 pm on weekends, offering a unique platform for cultural exchange and an immersive taste of India’s agricultural richness. The Embassy is pleased to invite everyone to the festival to experience this culinary spectacle.
