Doha: The Foreign Minister H E Dr Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah yesterday received a telephone call from US Secretary of State John Kerry. Talks covered the situation in Gaza Strip.
DOHA: The day will be hot today and slightly dusty at times, with strong winds making horizontal visibility quite low.
Wind direction will be northwesterly, meaning it wouldn’t be much hot. Speed would range between 15 and 30 knots during daytime.
However, as evening approaches, the wind would lose speed to 10 knots.
The Weather Bureau said in a forecast yesterday that the sea would be rough with slight dust hanging in the air and clouds playing hide and seek. Wind speed in the seas will be from 12 to 22 knots.
Visibility will initially be between four and eight km, gradually dropping to three km at times.
Day temperatures could soar to 47 degrees C in places like Mesaieed and Al Wakra, while the night would be cooler with the mercury levels down to 29.
In Doha, the maximum temperature forecast is 45 degrees and the minimum 35.
In Al Khor, the temperature will vary between 28 (at night) and 46 degrees (daytime).
Al Ruwais will witness the coolest day with the maximum temperature being 38 degrees Celsius.
