Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received the credentials of four new ambassadors to the state, in his office at the Amiri Diwan this morning.
HH the Amir received the credentials of the Ambassador of the Republic of Guatemala H E Carlos Humberto Jimenez, Ambassador of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau H E Umaro Djau, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand H E Sira Swangsilpa, and Ambassador of the Republic of Botswana H E Augustine Ntshomane Makgonatsotlhe.

His Highness the Amir welcomed the Ambassadors, wishing them success in their duties, and the relations between the State of Qatar and their countries' further progress and prosperity.

For their part, the Ambassadors conveyed to HH the Amir the greetings of the leaders of their countries, wishing the Qatari people continued development and growth.

Their Excellencies the Ambassadors were accorded official receptions upon their arrival at the Amiri Diwan.
